Congratulations to PAHL on receiving the 2015 Georgia Natural Gas TrueBlue Community Award! GNG is a true community supporter and celebrated a new milestone in their giving. The 5th annual GNG TrueBlue Community Awards marked $250,000 in grants given to Georgia nonprofits. A wonderful reception, “Ingrained in Giving for 5 Years”, was held 29 October 2015 at the Biltmore in downtown Atlanta. PAHL received one of eight Natural Leader awards and a grant for $2,500.
It was a really fun evening and we got to share it with a few PAHL community members: Victoria Anglin, Rick Fenwick, Paulette and Carl McKinney and Wayne Powell. Maria Rossoto, PAHL Executive Director and Chris Anglin, PAHL Board Chair, accepted the award.
About 100 nonprofits throughout the state applied for the award. We are thrilled that the value of what we do was recognized by the independent panel of civic and nonprofit leaders who selected the finalists. PAHL is still in its infancy (only 3 years old) and already seen as a positive force in South DeKalb. We are so happy to serve our communities and we are looking forward to an exciting 2016.

Thanks to all of our PAHLs who come to our events and programs, who volunteer with our projects and who support us financially. It takes ALL of us working together to make great things happen!
To your good health,
